We proudly present our catalogue and bulls for the 40th on farm sale for Mt Mable Angus R2 year old pedigree and performance recorded bulls. The bulls this year are excellent, showing all the attributes that Mt Mable have become renown for over the last 58 years of pedigree breeding and 40 years of presenting bulls in our own sales.
The first sale was held in 1985 in Ohura. We’ve changed location and stud masters since then but the commitment to quality cattle has remained stead fast. The feed back on the bulls over the decades has been consistent .........with the most common being “we didn’t know about you” (especially when still based in Ohura), next common being “your cattle are wonderfully quiet” and the third and probably the most important “my weaners this year are the best they have ever been”. Of course our three year money back guarantee gives all confidence to buy our bulls and we can count on two hands the number of times this has been called on since Kevin and Megan, at least, took over the stud duties in 1997. The bulls work and last. A repeat buyer had been absent for some time – we assumed they had found another bull breeder until they returned last year telling us that they thought it was time to retire the last bull they bought from us as he was 8 years old.
We look forward to welcoming all to our 40th sale celebration on the 9th June. The bulls are available for viewing by prior arrangement or they’ll be able to be assessed on the Hawke’s Bay Angus breeders bull walk on the 9th May – our bulls will be available from 12pm to 4.00pm with light luncheon also available.
